Welcome! |
Welcome to the HMFP Human Resource Website, where you can find information and answers to questions concerning various employment, benefit, and policy questions. The site continues to grow in depth and we appreciate any comments that you have regarding useful information that you would like to see added.
Of course, policies and procedures change from time to time and we make every effort to keep you abreast of these changes by taking advantage of email. Emails that directly relate to HMFP will come to you under the HMFP Corporate email address (HMFPCO@BIDMC.Harvard.edu).
Important Reminder: Although most of HMFP's members physically work on site at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, it is important to remember that you are an employee of HMFP when it comes to personal questions regarding benefits, payroll and employment verification.

Employment Information |
 |
Hiring Process: Since the HMFP hiring process is separate from the BIDMC's hiring of support staff, it is important to contact your administrative director or HMFP's HR Department for process guidelines. Keep in mind that any support staff hired to assist your department will be a BIDMC employee and as such will fall under BIDMC's benefits, policies and procedures. All newly hired or returning members to HMFP will take part in a personal meeting to review and complete all appropriate forms for employment. |
|
 |
Work Authorization/Visa's: Some members of HMFP may require work
authorization prior to starting. It is important that you work directly with
your department and the Director, HR Operations to ensure that all forms are
completed accurately. HMFP cannot employ anyone prior to documenting work
authorization through the Government required I-9 Process. |
|
 |
Email Distribution: In an effort to get you information that is both
informative and required by law, HMFP has created an HMFP distribution list. We
recognize the volume of email that one gets these days, and as such, try to
limit the announcements to once a month. However, it is important to recognize
that from time to time emergency updates are needed. We appreciate your
attention to these notices. From time to time notices for BIDMC employees regarding benefits and payroll are
disseminated via Corporate Communications, if HMFP is not specifically referenced then you are not
impacted by these updates. HMFP does participate in the BIDMC's Work$Perks$ Program. |
|
 |
Required Forms: Most changes to benefits and payroll can be done by way of email and/or faxing of a required form. Click here
to link to the most commonly used forms for payroll and benefits. The fastest form of communication within the department has been found to be
email.
